Books we are loving right now...

Books for us are a main staple in our home. They are up there with food, art and shopping. : )
We are touched that many of you have actually followed our suggestions and are busy happily reading too. We have all heard the cheesy slogan 'Books can change your life' well in our home that is solid truth.

Need something new to read? Here are a few novel suggestions from our home to yours!

Books we have been reading, perusing, speed reading, re-reading and loving:

Tumbleweed by Eddie Doherty..Leah just finished reading this gem of a novel about the life of Servant of God Catherine Doherty. It is by her beloved husband Eddie, and tells of her journey from life in Russia to the founding of Friendship House and Madonna House. It is a beautiful novel and Leah says that Eddie hooks you in, right from the first page.

Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple is a story told through letters, emails, faxes and journal entries. It is hilarious funny and I (renee) laughed out loud a bunch of times. It is a novel about many things: a  mother-daughter relationship, being an artist, family, and our creative individuality in today's crazy world. A great lighthearted summer read, one you won't regret getting from Costco for only a few dollars!

Be Still My Soul  by Joanne Bischof. Our mama read this one first and recommended it to us ladies. It is a coming of age story of a young girl, and her discovery of self and her relationship with God through an unwanted marriage. Set in the 1900's in the hills of Virginia, this story of love and second chances will will keep you reading until the wee hours of the night.

The Light Between Oceans  by M.L. Stedman This novel is a sad one friends, but written oh so pretty it is worth the read. It made us cry, but the careful thoughtfulness and the depth of emotion make you want to keep reading. It is the story of a Lighthouse keeper and her barren wife. After a series of miscarriages, a miracle of a baby girl washes up on shore, and changes their life forever.

Going Home  by Father Denis Lemieux. Don't let the little size of this book fool you, it is full of wisdom and reflection. The author Fr. Denis is a friend of ours from Madonna House, the lay apostolate in Combermere Ont. Going Home is a reflection of the prodigal son, through the writings of Catherine Doherty. Fr. Denis leads the reader slowly through the parable, through humour and meditations of Catherine, to the journey home, which is ultimately the journey to the Father. Definitely worth reading!

Still Alice  by Lisa Genova. We are sure most of you all have probably heard of this bestseller, but just in case you never got around to read it, we encourage you to pick it up. It is a one of a kind novel, set in the voice of Alice-a Harvard neuroscience professor diagnosed with early on set Alzheimers. If you know of anyone with this disease or with dementia, then this book is a must read. It reminds us to not define those because of their illnesses, but to remember the person inside. Our aunty recommended it to us years ago, but it is worth the re-read.

What are you reading with us? Anything grand and exciting? Share with us! Happy Thursday.

Hummus love

In our home hummus is and has been a family staple forever. We love our dips, and at any given meal you will see 5 or 6 different dips or toppings to compliment our dinner. Perhaps it's our French Canadian heritage and our great love for ketchup..;) All we know is that delicious dips such as this hummus, is a necessity for our eating pleasure. Our mama's favourite go to snack is hummus and cherry tomatoes. After our garlic was harvested we were all very excited to get back into the hummus making groove. It's cheaper and not full of all those secret ingredients, and always tastes wayyy better. : )

Charlotte's Roasted Garlic Hummus

2 cans of chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
2 Tbsp of sesame oil (or 3 Tbsp of tahini)
1 bulb of roasted garlic*
1 tsp of onion powder
Juice of 1 lemon
2 Tbs of olive oil

Blend all ingredients in a food processor, including the entire bulb of roasted garlic. Process until smooth. If hummus is too thick, add a tbsp of water at a time until desired consistency.
Enjoy! Yum!

*to roast a bulb of garlic:
Preheat oven to 375'F
First place your pealed garlic cloves in the middle of a square piece of tinfoil and drizzle with olive oil. Place your finger in the center of the square, and wrap the foil around the garlic. You should a have a foil pouch with a little spout. Roast in oven for 30-40 min.

Leah's SUPER Easy Side Twist

If you are like us and straighten your hair and then not wash it for awhile, you are always on the lookout for new ways to wear it. We noticed a lot of celebs were pinning up one side of their straight hair, and it just looked so classy!

Lucky for us all Leah put together this super easy side do, which takes minutes and helps jazz up our straight and slightly dirty locks.

Leah's Super Easy Side Twist

How to do it:

Step 1: Split hair into a deep part.

Step 2: On the side with less hair, separate the hair into three pieces.

Step 3: Twist each section individually and pin into place an inch or so beyond your ear with bobby pins.

Step 4: Place a barrette in the middle of all three twists.

Voila~ How easy is that? Have fun!

Art in progress..

"The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls." Pablo Picasso

After our sister's wedding, all of us looked at our wool, fabric, paint etc and said: "Now what?" We had spent so much time and effort creating all of the fabulous projects like: pew bows and flowers, that our own projects became a little bit dusty.
Lots of rest and plenty of tasty treats later and we have been back at it!
Today we thought we would share with you our art projects in progress..
*some more finished than others*...: )

Leah was given all this lovely charcoal grey Cascades Superwash  for Christmas. Our mama thoughtfully purchased all the yarn and the pattern needed for her to make this sweater: Toulouse Pullover. The best part is that she is almost finished! Leah is on the homestretch, and only has a teensy bit more knitting to do. The Cascades yarn is very soft, and the grey colour is perfect for fall! We can't wait to put it together in an outfit...it's going to be beautiful.

The Spring/Summer for Charlotte is a time of art shows, which means lots of selling for Truly Charlotte. She usually does most of her creating during the Fall and Winter months. That being said however, recently a new Charly's Friend came to life and he is too cute to not share with you all. Mr. Giraffe is made out of recycled fabric and is stuffed with a 100% sheep fleece. He is not quite finished yet, but will be soon and then ready for the next show come Christmas.

My project is still in the very beginning stages, as I have yet to still wind my tangled wool. It took me awhile (and a few ripped out projects later) to decide on what to work on next. Charlotte and I had been browsing Wabi Sabi when this gorgeous cowl patter popped out at us: Fino Circle Scarf. As you all know by now dear friends, we Daisies love our scarves. We just find them the perfect way to dress up any old outfit.
This cowl is huge, easy and exactly what I want to wear come Fall. My fingers fell in love with the softness of the Manos Fino mint green wool. It is a combination of Merino and Silk. Now I just have to get started...

Do you have an art project that you are working on? What is it? Share with us! We love hearing from you.

Words...

Sometimes all we need is a great quote to change a mood. Just a few words  have the power to turn our utmost worst day into a smile. A lovely mint lemonade also helps: )

Here are a few for you today, hope they lighten your Thursday morning!

"But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions, think." Lord Byron

"To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong." Joseph Chilton Pearce

"Everybody seeks happiness. Not me though, that's the difference between me and the rest of the world. Happiness isn't good enough for me. I demand euphoria." Calvin and Hobbes.

"Art is the stored honey of the human soul" Theodore Dreiser

"You are a thought of God, you are a heartbeat of God. To say this is like saying that you have a value which in a sense is infinite, that you matter to God in your completely unique individuality"
Blessed Pope John Paul II

"Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope" Dr. Maya Angelou

"Hope is the thing with feathers, that perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words, And never stops at all." Emily Dickinson

"That's right' she told the girls. 'You are bored. And I'm going to let you in on a little secret about life. You think it's boring now? Well, it only gets more boring. The sooner you learn it's on you to make life interesting, the better off you'll be." Marion Simple-Where'd you go Bernadette

Good for your wallet and waist..ROOT chips! : )

It's the end of August, the time of year all of us food lovers get very excited over the littlest things. Farmers markets and local corn stands. Squash and ripe tomatoes. Delicious local purple grapes. Yum! The abundance of produce gives all our little food loving hearts, major cooking inspiration.
This past weekend we were out and about and had these delicious Terra Root Chips.. In the midst of all the gathering of farm goodies, we thought of these chips as a perfect way to incorporate those 'kind of not popular' root veggies into our diets.
The Terra Root chips that we bought were tasty, but slightly expensive!
There had to be a way to make them...
so what do the lovely single girls do on a Sunday afternoon?
We slice and dice!

Root Veggie Chips
Makes 3-4 servings.

Ingredients

2 sweet potatoes
2 beets
1 rutabaga
2 carrots
1 parsnip
2-3 potatoes
olive oil and sea salt

Preheat your oven to 350'F

Step 1: Peel and slice all your veggies. We used a mandolin, but you could use a sharp knife and cut thin slices of all your veggies.
Step 2: Toss them in a couple of tablespoons of olive oil and generous sprinkling of sea salt. Arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet
Step 3: Bake for 15 min or so, or until the edges are dried out. Take them out and flip those chips over! Pop them back in for another 10 min or until they smell ready to you :) Season with more salt if desired.

Enjoy! What's cooking in your kitchen these days? Share with us! xo

Our Absolute Favourite: Dairy and Wheat free Brownies!

In our home these brownies are the number one go to dessert. They are dark, rich and the absolute best chocolatey goodness you have ever tasted.
We eat them for lunch, snack, dessert and sometimes breakfast. : )
After our tummies couldn't tolerate wheat or dairy, our mama lovingly measured, sifted and made these brownies so that we could eat them.  These babies are so good your wheat and dairy eating friends won't even notice the difference. We promise. They are the perfect recipe to convince a wheat-dairy eating lover that not all our baking is dry, tasteless and crumbly grossness.

We LOVE our mama for making them dairy and wheat free!
We LOVE our dad for finding and purchasing this cookbook.

This recipe is originally from Nuts About Chocolate, a cookbook by the Lazy Gourmet Restaurant.
Our parents bought this little treasure trove of chocolate recipes over thirty years ago and it is now a relic in our kitchen. This cookbook is no longer in its book stage, and now lives permanently  in a sealed ziploc, as all its pages are full of smeared chocolate, cocoa, and are in various pieces. But we love it. And really isn't that proof of being loved? We think so :)

From the Vault: The Timinski's Favourite Chocolate Spelt Brownies

adapted from the Nuts About Chocolate

Ingredients

1 cup of vegan melted margarine, or coconut oil if desired
1/2 cup of white sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
3/4 cup of dark cocoa (yes it's more pricey then Fry's but makes the BEST chocolate brownie)
3 large eggs
1 1/3 cup of spelt flour
1 1/2 tsp of baking powder
1 1/2 tsp of vanilla

Preheat oven to 350'F, grease or line a 13' x 9' inch pan

Step 1: Sift together flour and baking powder. Leave it aside.
Step 2: In a large bowl mix margarine and both sugars until combined. Sift cocoa into mixture
Step 3: Add each egg (one at a time) and beat well, approx 1 min for each. Add vanilla
Step 4: Stir in flour mixture and combine. Pour mixture into prepared pan and bake for 30min, until center is firm.

You can add 1 cup of chopped walnuts if you fancy them. We love our brownies without, but feel free to toss them in with the flour.

If you want the ultimate brownie experience try our favourite icing:

Carole's Chocolate Icing

1/4 cup of vegan margarine
1/2 cup of sifted cocoa
3 cups of icing sugar
3-4 tbsp of soya milk

Step 1: Mix the margarine and cocoa together.
Step 2: Slowly add 1/2 cup of icing sugar. Mix together. Add a tbsp of soya milk and blend.
Step 3: Keep alternating the icing sugar and soya milk until you get the right thickness.
Enjoy!

DIY Lovely Braided Bun

It's Monday and we figured it's time for a creative and new twist on a plain old bun. We first saw the lovely braid and bun combo on the actress Katherine Heigl in the film 'Life as We Know It'.
If you want a cute movie full of hair inspiration-check out that one! : ) We loved this bun and had our talented Leah figure it out for us.

If you know how to braid, this one is perfect for you! If you are still a newbie, find a friend/sister/mother/child and practice! It's cute and stylish which makes it a perfect combo!

Step 1: Do a nice side part and pick up approximately two inches of hair.

Step 2: Start an inside out braid. What's that? They are also called Dutch braids and if you are unsure how to do braid, check out this great video here

Step 3: Instead of gathering and plaiting your hair along your head (like a normal braid) pick up hair and braid from your hairline, and guide the braid towards your ear. Only pick up hair close to your hairline, not the hair in the middle, as you are making a bun with those lovely locks afterwards.

Step 4: Once you get to your ear, stop picking up hair and braid as normal to the end. Secure with a small elastic.

Step 5: Leaving the braid to the side, gather the rest of your hair into either a Sock Bun or if your hair is too thick try our: 5 min Sock Bun Without a Sock and bobby pin in place.

Step 6: Take the braid and wrap it around the bun, secure with bobby pins. There you go! Finished!

5 things we are loving right now...

We thought today we would share with you a few things that we are loving these days..

First of all it's a feast day for us Catholics, so Happy Feast of the Assumption friends!
Unsure and curious as to what that is all about, take a second check out Feast of the Assumption Info
Basically for us it is a day to celebrate Our Mama Mary and all that she is in our lives.

Second: Leah and Charlotte have been in and out of the pool all summer and so their poor locks are DRIED out from the chlorine. Thankfully Leah has found the product Organix Coconut Milk Serum, and it is a lifesaver! It smells divine and replenishes the driest of dried out chlorine bleached hair. It's applied after you wash your hair and smells like Malibu Barbie. Mmmm

Third: The show What Not to Wear. It's been our fashion friend for a decade and is now on it's last season. Insert a hundred sad faces here : ( We LOVE Stacey and Clinton and all their great advice. Tune in on Friday evenings now for the last Hurrah before they go. Thank goodness for reruns!

Fourth: Our Mama bought Valley Girl Naturals Bug Repellent as an alternative to bug spray. Not only does it smell like lavender, but it actually keeps those pesky bugs at bay. You just have to keep applying it : ) We found it a market in Barry's Bay, but check out their website here.

Fifth: We adore Soulpancake's picture (below) and want our own copy to stare at all day long!

Are you feeling in a rut, take a minute and check out their website here, guaranteed you will feel inspired! What are you loving right now? Share with us!

It's official: Flip Flops are a Flip Not

For the past two years, Leah and I have been going regularly for A.R.T massage treatment and chiropractic care at Back to Health center here in Ottawa. Why? because we had knee and hip injuries, combinations of alignment issues and a pulled I.T. Band. We were both walking/running with pain all the time.
Going to Back to Health has been a real God send as we can now work out and be okay. Run races and not feel achy sore. Walk to school quick and not feel throbbing in our sides.
What have we learned from all this?
First we found the following amazing chart here

Injury Prevention can  SAVE you money and pain!
Those cute flip flops that we wore forever and I mean forever-belong in the trash. The cheapie flip flop sandals that come in every colour and style are not good for our lovely tootsies!
When you think about it, your feet carry your entire lovely body all day. They walk on hard floors, paved roads and gravely paths.  Dr Whyte- a medical expert at Discovery said the following in an article published here..

"The truth is many of our favorite flip-flops can be sending us feet first into serious injuries to our feet, ankles, knees, hips, and even our back. Over time these injuries can lead to serious bone, tendon, and joint damage.
Believe it or not, there's been a lot of research regarding flip-flops. A recent study found that flip-flop wearers tend to grip the footwear with their toes, causing shorter stride length and improper force when their feet hit the ground. What does this mean? Basically, a powerful force is transferred up our legs, putting additional stress on our lower body" Dr. Whyte:  Flip Flops-Do they hurt your feet?

Don't your feet deserve better care? We say YES!
And girls you can do it stylishly too!

After we cleaned the flip flops out of our closet we learned the following:

1. Sandals like Birkenstocks have a nice arch and come in many cute, stylish colours! Even Vogue had an article on how Birks are popping up on the runway! Check it out: Vogue Girls wear birks

2. Leah loves her tanned sandals with a closed back. The crisscross strap around her ankle, gives her plenty of support and she can still wear her insole!

3. Even if it's hot you can still wear cute flats instead of sandals!

So if you are a hardcore flip flop lover, take a second and re-think your lovely feet...they deserve better! What do you think? Are you for or against flip-flops? Share with us! We would love to hear from you!

DIY Rosebud Hairstyle! So Pretty and EASY!

Our lovely Leah is back at styling updos, and showed us how to do this easy braided updo in only three steps!
And yes Charlotte and I can both do this one too : )

We call it:

The Rosebud Hairstyle!

1. Separate your hair into three sections and braid each one.

2. Twist each braid into a low bun and secure with bobby pins. It's okay if you have a few ends sticking out, the messier the better : )

3. Repeat with each of the other sections and there you go! Finished!

PS This hairdo is perfect for those unwashed locks, the humidity struggling hair and works for curly hair too! Give it a try and have fun!

Fantastic Fold Over Elastics!

A little while ago, Charlotte was flipping through a magazine and noticed these super cute sparkly hair elastics. They are made out of stretchy fold over elastic, which makes them comfy and good for your hair! The soft elastic doesn't leave a crease and actually stays in place. Extra bonus: the sparkly and colourful elastic also looks cute on your wrist! It's so much better then the plain old black hair tie.

Charlotte was excited when she recently found these sparkly babies at Forever 21 but was horrified when she was saw the price! For four elastics it was approximately seven dollars!!
These fold over elastic hair ties are popular now and can also be found at American Eagle and Walmart. They all have one thing in common though-the ridiculous price!
There had to be a way for the creative gal to make her own! Charlotte searched around the interweb and found her fold over elastic here and paid less then a dollar a yard. It is exactly the same quality as the ones we found in the stores!

How to make them?

1. First purchase the fold over elastic of your choice! We love the aqua and the gold glittery elastic! So pretty.

2. Measure and cut 9.5 inches of elastic

3. Tie the ends into a knot. We like a side knot. Make sure you leave about an inch at the end.

4. To keep your elastic from fraying, light a candle and hold your elastic next to the flame. The heat will seal the ends.

Voila finished! Give it a try! These elastics make great gifts...wink wink ; )

DIY Cotton Circle Scarf

Are you tired of your plain old scarves? Need something to jazz up an otherwise boring outfit?
Try making a very easy, but oh so pretty circle scarf!

Last week I came home from work and the lovely Miss Charlotte had on a new pink circle scarf. She was feeling like she needed something colourful that day to jazz up her outfit, and so made her own circle scarf.
What exactly is a circle scarf? It is a large piece of cotton sewn together in a big loop. It is light and perfect to wear in summer. The circle scarf also can be a great cover up.

How to wear it?

We found this on American Apparel. As much as we love the circle scarves, we wouldn't try the last few..a tad bit risky for our taste.

How to make it?

Charlotte's Circle Scarf

You will need:

approximately 2 meters of jersey cotton or fabric of your choice.
sewing machine
thread
pins
large area to fold fabric

How to do it:

1. Lay out your fabric and fold in half. Pin the cut sides together
2. Using your sewing machine sew them together, creating a large fabric loop.
There you go! You can experiment with different fabric, sizes etc. 2 meters gives you enough fabric to loop it around nicely, but switch it up if you like. The circle scarves can be smaller, bigger etc. If you happen to use a fabric with stripes, make sure they line up : )
 Have fun!

An Inspiration List

It is late August and the evening air has just a hint of Fall chill. These last few days of summer are so tempting to make us just want to nap, read  and lay in hammocks all day long. We love to do all those activities, but sometimes they make our creative selves a bit lazy and we need a little inspiration to create. We need a push off our comfortable hammocks and back to our projects. In order to get our creative selves back to action we like to look at a little inspiration first. So today we share with you:

An Inspiration List

Mmm that delicious drink featured above! It's sparkling wine and our favourite cranberry raspberry cocktail. Pretty and tasty too!

Julia Cameron   always inspires us, not matter how crummy or uninspired we feel. She is full of creative wisdom, and has a new book for all you creative mamas: The Artists way for Parents .
Julia Cameron has so many quotes that are little pearls, like this one: " Life is a creative endeavour. It is active, not passive. We are the yeast that leavens our lives into rich, fully baked loaves. When we experience our lives as flat and lacklustre, it is our consciousness that is at fault. We hold the inner key that turns our lives from thankfulness to fruitful. That key is 'Blessing"

The late summer sunlight. It reflects and glows in such a way that we just have to stop and stare at the leaves, the flowers, the sunglow is everywhere! We discovered the picture Sunset feeding time and love it!

This neat idea of making aged paper candles. We grew up making paper invitations, cards, etc and love this creative idea of using the paper to jazz up candles. It's a lovely centerpiece idea and one we can't wait to try.

Soulpancake's video The Science of Happiness. The folks at Soulpancake take a happiness study and put it to practice. The result: The action of expressing gratitude to those in your life brings huge HUGE happiness.   : ) : )

The musician Luke Spehar and his guitar playing goodness!

Fascinating firefly long exposure photographs that are so creative! Did you know that fireflies glow, dance, flash their lights to attract mates? Pretty neat!

The artist Phoebe Wahl and her incredibly detailed watercolour illustrations. We love all the family scenes, especially the one called 'Bedtime'. So beautiful!!

And if all else fails, take your lovely self outside and go for an Artist Date! Go for a walk, browse through jars of vintage buttons, listen to your favourite musician, basically anything that sounds like a fun.

What inspires you? Share with us!

Artist Feature *Our Mama!*

All of us children have grown up knowing that our Mama sews. It is just what she does and always did. Her aunt taught her as a little girl, and she grew up learning to sew her own baby doll clothes.

When we were young and desired a new dress for school, our Mama would stay up until the wee hours of the night, sewing away. We woke up and voila! A brand new dress would be hanging up on our door. It was just a part of our life. When we wanted new Easter dresses and were obsessed with bonnets (ya we loved Little House on the Prairie) Mama whipped up matching Easter outfits, complete with mini ties for our brothers. She never failed to surprise us with new pajamas, dresses for weddings, birthdays, and then came the quilts. Our talented Mama began quilting and fell in love. She made us all quilts for special occasions: for Christmas, for moving to College, for babies, and most recently for weddings. The style of quilting she loves is called free motion quilting, which is when the quilter lowers the feed dogs on the machine and freely quilts designs. Basically it is like drawing with the sewing machine. The effect is beautiful, and allowed our Mama to move into Art quilts, like her Sunflower creation featured here.

Recently she has been making baby quilts out of bright 100% flannels, and cotton batting. The baby quilts are perfect for stimulating new babies and of course keeping them cozy warm. If you are interested in quilting: they are 4 inch finished blocks with 1 and 3 inch border and are free motion quilted. These quilts are crib size, and perfect for the ever growing baby. Our mama is making them to sell, so if interested post in the comments below!

Her spectacular new piece de resistance is the Wedding Quilt made for Elese and her new hubby Shaun. The Wedding Quilt is king size and is 6 inch finished 9 patch blocks, alternating with a 6 inch cream tone on tone. It is assembled on point and if you are a quilter looking for a fabulous site to help you with on points, check out: quiltville on point math

The Wedding Quilt is straight stitched quilted, and has  free motion quilting in the cream coloured blocks. It is so beautiful! Perhaps we girls just might have to start quilting soon...

Opposites Attract! How to Incorporate Men's Wear...

and make it look lady like!

Have you noticed a trend of guys wear on stylish ladies? Unsure as to how to give it a try? We decided to give it a go and loved the different looks that were created!

What kind of men's clothing are we talking about?
Large white shirts,
Large flannel shirts
Vests
Ties
Fedora hats
Belts

As we mentioned in our previous post on the Boyfriend Shirt,  we like to scour the shops for large shirts that can be canvases for a new and stylish outfit. Second hand stores, flea markets, or stores like the GAP, Old Navy and Zara, sometimes have great finds.
If you are feeling adventurous and want to give it a go here are a couple of looks we put together:

The Miss 'I'm Headed to Art School' Look

Try a man's flannel shirt and accessorize it up! Charlotte pairs the checkered shirt with solid blue skinnys. She decided to make it more girly by wearing very lady like nude heels and a skinny belt. She also added her dainty gold and leather bracelet and drop earrings. A straw fedora completes it, and voila Charlotte is ready to go out!

The Miss 'Victorian Forever' Look

Leah feminizes a large and usually frumpy flannel shirt, with her delicate vintage pearl collar. We found this in the Madonna House gift shop and learned that women used to wear pearl collars over cardigans and other shirts. We love it! So incredibly lady like. The flannel shirt suddenly becomes classy and revamped. Leah also has girly pink skinny's and her fake leopard print heels. Wearing her hair in a loose romantic updo, adds an overall very pretty flair to Leah's romantic outfit.

The 'I Want to be at a Concert' Look

Try tying a scarf like a tie!
Our dad is our resident tie- knotter and thankfully managed to tie an excellent knot with our bird print scarf! We love this idea and are going to definitely wear knotted scarves this Fall. We decided to start practicing those tie knots, and so found this video:
Easy Instructions for tying a tie
Oxford leather heels, lots of bangly pearls and my favourite flowery ring, add a feminine touch to an otherwise manly outfit.

There you go ladies! Dig through your dad/brother/ man in your life's closet and see if you can put together a fun new look for Fall! Have fun!
